A staple of the River Range Adventures trip catalog includes the summer season on the Snake River and the surrounding tributaries. Trips include walk/wades in Yellowstone, Drift Boat trips on the Snake River in GTNP, and backcountry fishing excursions. The farther you go…. the more wild it gets!
Come experience the Wyoming backcountry on a snowmobile. The Bridger-Teton National Forest offers 600 miles of trail and endless backcountry terrain from Togwotee Pass to Greys River.

Between our busy guiding and destination travel season, the River Range Adventures team ties and designs custom patterns from across the globe. Each pattern is uniquely created to solve problems within the specific fisheries across the world. Have a creative idea? Need the basics of tying? Want a group of skilled tiers to pass the cold months with? Join the RRA team for weekly tying seminars, demonstrations, videos, and custom flies…
Each year around the second weekend of September, the Jackson Hole One Fly Tournament takes place. Anglers from around the industry and the country come to compete in this friendly atmosphere event that takes place on the Snake River in WY, and the South Fork in ID. With just a single fly to score points with during the entire day, the guide/angler team must fish wisely. Dakota Richardson has guided for the tournament the last 4 seasons, placing in the Wyoming Guides top 10 in 2017 and guiding Cortland’s John Wilson to the top amateur angler position in 2018, as well as Top Amateur Angler in 2019.
Join the River Range Adventures team on upcoming hosted trips to Abaco. These trips have become a specialty for the RRA team over the years. Both hosted lodge trips as well as exploratory DIY options are available.
With options both on the Pacific and the Caribbean, the River Range Adventures team has been traveling to Mexico over the last 10 years, exploring everything from the northern Tarpon grounds, the Permit rich coast of Ascension Bay, and across the Sea of Cortez hunting Roosterfish.
Each season the River Range Adventures team heads to different destinations around the United States and abroad, including northern Steelhead streams, southern Redfish marshes, desert Trout streams, and the Caribbean for an opportunity to experience different settings, people, and fish. Join us for a unique experience tailored to your next adventure.
